How to Buy
There is no doubt in our minds,or those of industry analysts, that in the future software will be used more and more by businesses under a Software as a Service (SaaS) or Transactional model . This is a model that we feel relies on businesses starting to think of the software they use everyday as something that provides 'a service' to their business. We feel this has not happened on a wide enough scale to only offer our software under this model. We have therefore made the decision to offer Orchestrator under three different licensing schemes, to give our clients the greatest level of flexibility.
Traditional
We offer a "traditional" licensing scheme (perpetual) whereby you pay a capital sum for the rights to use a version of Orchestrator. Thereafter you pay an additional annual fee for Orchestrator maintenance releases, upgrades and unlimited access to our helpdesk . Under this licensing model you have the option to deploy the software 'On Premise' on your own server hardware or we can host the software for you for an additonal annual fee. This model allows you to depreciate the licensing fee as an asset but incurs an upfront capital cost.
Transactional
You pay a variable monthly amount based on a tiny percentage of the value of each transaction. The transactional fee includes all maintenance releases, upgrades, hosting and unlimited access to our helpdesk. Depending on the length of the agreement (1 to 5 years), you could be up and running on Orchestrator without paying a penny in up front costs. This model allows you to pay for the software as you use it and means that your monthly bill will always be proportionate to the previous month's revenue.
Software as a Service
You pay a fee per user per month. The fee depends on the length of the agreement (from 3 months to 5 years) and the number of users involved. As per the Transactional model the monthly fee includes all maintenance releases, upgrades, hosting and unlimited access to our helpdesk. Again, you could be up and running on Orchestrator without paying a penny and the only time your fee’s will increase is when you add more users. This model allows you to pay for the software as you use it and gives you a known monthly cost.
